A. Personal Information (Provided Voluntarily)
  • Registration Data: Name, username, email address, password, phone number, gender, date of birth (to verify you are of legal age), and profile pictures.
  • Profile Information: Interests, preferences, relationship goals, lifestyle details, bio details, educational background, and occupation.
  • Identity Verification: If you apply for verification, we may request a selfie and photo of a government-issued identity document (which is deleted immediately after validation).
B. Automatically Collected Information
  • Device Metadata: Device hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (UUID), IP address, and mobile network information.
  • Usage and Logs: Log files, app features accessed, session durations, interactions with other profiles, matching history, and crash reports.
  • Geolocational Data: Precise or approximate location data (latitude/longitude coordinates) retrieved via GPS, IP address, or Wi-Fi to show you nearby users. Location permissions can be managed directly in your device settings.
C. Communication Data
  • Messages, chat history, photos, or voice notes sent between you and other users within the App's built-in chat system.

2. How We Use Information

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Service Operations: Creating accounts, matching you with other users, facilitating video calls (using third-party services like Agora), and delivering localized services.
  • App Personalization: Recommending profiles based on your geolocational data, interests, and matching history.
  • Safety and Security: Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraud, harassment, unauthorized activities, and policy violations.
  • Communication: Sending updates, security alerts, verification codes, and administrative messages.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Integrations

We may share your data with third parties only in the following contexts:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting, geolocational mapping services, and analytics platforms (such as Google Firebase) that operate strictly under confidentiality agreements.
  • Communication Providers: Real-time call platforms (like Agora) to enable in-app voice and video calling.
  • Legal Obligations: When required to comply with search warrants, subpoenas, court orders, or requests by authorized law enforcement agencies.
  • Safety and Policy Enforcement: To report severe violations, including Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), to relevant authorities (such as NCMEC).

4. Data Retention & User Rights (Data Deletion)

We retain your personal data only as long as your account remains active or as required for historical records and safety audits. In compliance with data protection laws:

  • Right to Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.
  • In-App Deletion: Go to Settings -> Account Settings -> Delete My Account to trigger permanent deletion.
  • Email Request: Alternatively, you can request data deletion by emailing our support desk at info@friendlygroup.co. Your data will be deleted from our active databases within 14 days of verification.

5. Minors and Children's Privacy

Friendly Group is strictly restricted to individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow minors (under 18) to use our platform or collect their personal data. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will terminate the account and purge all associated data immediately.

Child Safety Standards Policy

Strict Zero-Tolerance Mandate

We maintain a strict, absolute zero-tolerance policy against any form of child abuse, exploitation, or grooming. Violator accounts are banned permanently on first offense, and we escalate all cases to international law enforcement.

Prohibition of CSAE & CSAM

We explicitly prohibit the creation, upload, sharing, transmission, request, or hosting of any content that constitutes, depicts, facilitates, or promotes:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Visual representations of minors engaged in sexually explicit behavior, or generated images depicting child exploitation.
  • Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Activities that harm minors, including online solicitation, sexual grooming, or coordinating physical harm to anyone under the age of 18.

Any account found involved in such violations will be terminated immediately, and user metadata will be secured for law enforcement analysis.

In-App Reporting & User Feedback Mechanisms

The Friendly Group application provides simple, robust in-app mechanisms that are accessible 24/7 to report harmful behavior:

  • Reporting Profiles: Users can tap the triple-dot menu on any user profile, select "Report Profile", select the appropriate category (e.g., "Child Safety" or "Harassment"), and submit details.
  • Reporting Media & Chat: Within chat interfaces or public posts, users can long-press a message or tap the flag icon next to media to report it directly to our moderation desk.
  • Instant Blocking: Tapping "Block" on a profile terminates all communication channels immediately, preventing the blocked user from viewing your profile or contacting you.

Moderation & Response Workflow

We combine automated filtering tools with dedicated human moderation teams to handle safety audits:

  • 24-Hour Review Turnaround: Our safety team reviews all submitted child safety reports within 24 hours.
  • Immediate Content Removal: Confirmed CSAM/CSAE material is instantly and permanently deleted from our servers.
  • Permanent Banning: Offending accounts are banned via hardware ID (UUID) and IP address to prevent re-registration.
  • International Escalation: Confirmed CSAM/CSAE cases are immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and regional technology crime units.
